Educator, songwriter, scholastic achiever, artist, gifted, talented, wisdom beyond her years, are a few of the adjectives that have been used to describe Dr. Belanfante. She grew up in the hand-clapping, foot-stomping, tongue-talking church that believed in standing for holiness. She was baptized at the tender age of four years old and was filled with the Holy Ghost at five years old. Since then, she has committed herself wholeheartedly to the service of God. Her desire to please God is evident in the active role she has played in the ministry throughout the years. She has been a Sunday School teacher for nine years. As such, God has allowed her to come in contact with children and teenagers who have encountered various experiences. She has encouraged youth who desperately need to hear the message that God cares for them even when it seems as if no one else does. She currently serves as the Youth Ministry President at Faith Apostolic Gospel Temple.
In 2002, Dr. Belanfante became an ordained missionary. In 2003, she was ordained to the office of an evangelist and has remained committed in her walk with Christ. She is also a choir director, musician, and singer. Dr. Belanfantehas always expressed that her ultimate goal is to point souls to Calvary. “I don’t want people to see me. Rather, I want them to see the Christ in me. Whether it is through preaching or music, my hope is that souls will acknowledge their need for Jesus and make a commitment to their savior. My deepest desire is to be used as an instrument of God.” She is not simply a performer; she is a praise and worship leader. Dr. Belanfante is not only devoted in her spiritual walk with Christ but strives to integrate her faith with her vocation.
